Donations to the Benjamin E. Mays Alumni Association provide financial support to the students and programs of Mays High School. The Alumni Association works in collaboration with the administration of the school to determine where needs can best be met.  

The signature program of the Alumni Association is the Thomas E. Wood, Jr. Scholarship, which was established in 2011 in honor of the first principal of our beloved Alma Mater. Each year, a financial scholarship is provided to students who have demonstrated the attributes of student success throughout their high school matriculation. It is a goal of the Alumni Association to increase the amount and the number of scholarships awarded with the generous support of stakeholders.

The Alumni and community partners of Benjamin E.
